Roblox and Minecraft both let you jump into blocky worlds and do pretty much whatever you want, but they feel very different. Roblox is more like an app store full of games built inside one platform. Every time you log in you are picking from thousands of mini experiences, from obbys to roleplay to full blown simulators. Minecraft is more like a giant box of digital Lego. You get one core game and shape it yourself through building, survival, mods and servers. Roblox leans toward fast, social games and a creator marketplace. Minecraft leans toward building, exploration and long term worlds you keep coming back to.
